Caleb Anderson is Long Beach State’s 6-foot-5 power arm with upside against top competition
In the 2026 season, Caleb Anderson has shown he can handle high-leverage spots for Long Beach State: he struck out 9 over 6 shutout innings against then-No. 12 USC and was named to Baseball America’s National Team of the Week. The 6-foot-5 graduate right-hander brings a heavy workload, a breaking ball that misses bats, and the kind of tough-minded experience that plays in big games. He’s not perfectly polished, but if you need a starter or multi-inning arm with real competitiveness and upside, he’s absolutely worth a look.
