End-of-bench guard with a long-ago stat line, not a current rotation driver
Jin Cheng’s available college stat trace is extremely thin: ESPN’s record shows a single appearance for Northwestern State in the 2008-09 season with no points, rebounds, assists, or shots logged, so there’s no evidence of current on-court production to evaluate. That means the real story isn’t box-score pop; it’s whether he brings practice value, positional depth, and guard insurance. For a roster fit, he reads more like a developmental or depth piece than an immediate impact guard.
