Hal Hughston gives Samford a specialist with steady leg strength and game-day value
Hal Hughston projects as a useful **specialist kicker** for Samford, where fit is about reliability, consistency, and handling pressure more than flash. Publicly available, source-backed performance details for his current season are limited, so the best read is that he’s the kind of roster piece you want if you value a calm, dependable kicking game and clean execution in tight situations. For a team looking for a low-drama, efficiency-first option on special teams, he’s the sort of player who can quietly swing close games.
