Brown’s former linebacker prospect brought toughness, versatility, and academic polish
Sean Wengerter was a Brown linebacker/fullback recruit from Cresskill, New Jersey, where he arrived as a three-time all-league player, team captain, and team MVP, with added edge from wrestling and track; that profile points to a physical, high-motor player who likely fit Brown’s old-school, versatile defensive culture well[1]. His listed recruiting bio also highlighted strong academics, including National Honor Society and AP Scholar with Honors, which is a good sign for a program that values discipline as much as contact courage[1].
