Long, disruptive Furman interior lineman with proven pass-rush pop
Kupchinsky has long been a sturdy, assignment-sound defensive lineman for Furman, showing interior pass-rush value with 3 career sacks by 1999 and active hands in the passing lane as a redshirt freshman in 1997. In the 2000 season, he was still listed on the Paladins’ defensive front, giving Furman length, experience, and physicality at DT/DE. The appeal is simple: he’s a tough, versatile trench player who can collapse pockets and fit a disciplined scheme, though his value is more “glue-and-grit” than headline-stuffing splash stats.
