Local Iowa State guard with size, toughness, and Cyclone DNA
Wes Greder is a 6-foot-5 guard from Ames, Iowa, who grew up around the program and earned a reputation as a gritty, team-first Cyclone with multi-sport athleticism and strong classroom habits. In the 2016-17 season, he appeared in 8 games for Iowa State, and his background includes playing for Gilbert High School, where he averaged 17.2 points as a senior and helped win a state title in cross country. He looks like the kind of player coaches trust for effort, length, and culture fit rather than flashy numbers.
