Laura Spanheimer was a defensive force and all-around playmaker for Creighton
Laura Spanheimer stands out as a high-impact Creighton guard whose value went far beyond scoring: she finished her career as the Bluejays’ all-time steals leader, earned All-Missouri Valley honors, and was twice named Defensive Player of the Year. Her profile suggests a disruptive, high-intensity defender who could also create offense in bursts, including a 21-point, five-steal game against Nebraska and a triple-double versus Indiana State. If you need a guard who brings toughness, versatility, and game-changing defense, she fits the mold.
