Haywood Wright brings elite rim protection and defensive disruption
Haywood Wright stands out as a **defense-first** frontcourt prospect, with MaxPreps crediting him for **4.8 blocks per game** in high school and top-tier ranking marks in his league/section, signaling real shot-blocking instincts and timing.[2] If Yale is looking for a forward who can alter game plans, protect the paint, and play with a high motor, Wright’s biggest value is his ability to change possessions without needing the ball in his hands.[2]
