Veteran linebacker with a versatile CMU résumé
Kyle Zelinsky brings veteran-value upside for Central Michigan: ESPN lists him as a linebacker in the Chippewas’ program history, and recruiting data pegs him at 6-0, 220 as an inside linebacker with a compact build that suits traffic-heavy run defense[1][2]. He also shows a surprisingly multi-dimensional background from earlier CMU stat pages, including special-teams usage and some offensive touches, which usually signals football IQ, toughness, and coach trust[3]. If you want a scrappy, assignment-sound LB who can do a little of everything and won’t flinch in the dirty work, he checks that box[1][2][3].
