Jackson Ford is the Aztecs’ big-bodied TE with room to grow as a receiving weapon
In the 2025 season, Jackson Ford gave San Diego State a sturdy 6-foot-6, 250-pound tight end who caught 10 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown while starting to flash as a bigger part of the passing game. He’s valued for his size, length, and two-way background, but the real intrigue is his upside: coaches and local coverage describe him as healthy, dynamic, and positioned for an expanded role in 2026. If you want a TE who can block, develop into a red-zone target, and still has untapped receiving juice, Ford is a sneaky-good fit.
