Veteran Louisiana Tech mauler with a witty edge and proven SEC-to-Conference USA toughness
Kirby Wixson is a seasoned Louisiana Tech offensive lineman who earned second-team All-Conference USA honors in 2015 after starting 13 games, and he was on the 2015 Dave Rimington Trophy watch list, a strong signal of center-level respect. In 2015, he also played through a major neck injury that cost him most of the season, which says a lot about his grit and pain tolerance. Coaches described him as the unit’s witty, sarcastic presence, but on the field he brought size, experience, and consistency—exactly the kind of no-drama trench piece teams love.
