Maria Laterza gives Marist size, rebounding, and veteran interior presence
A 6-3 senior center, Maria Laterza is valued for her **length, rebounding, and paint presence** rather than high-volume scoring; in the 2010-11 season she was listed at 2.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game by ESPN, and Marist’s roster lists her as a senior center with no current-season stats available. Her profile suggests a classic low-usage interior role player who can anchor the post, absorb physical matchups, and provide experience—useful for a team needing dependable size more than offense.
