Valdamar Brower brings veteran edge to UMass’ defensive front
Brower is a **redshirt senior defensive lineman** for Massachusetts, giving the Minutemen experienced depth and a seasoned presence in the trenches in the 2023 roster listing. His differentiator is durability plus program familiarity: UMass lists him at 6'1", 280 pounds, a frame built for interior leverage and run support, and his long college path suggests a player valued for toughness, practice habits, and fit as much as box-score production. If you want a developmental depth piece with old-school line strength and veteran reliability, he fits the profile.
