Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week with 0.84 ERA and Unhit 10 2/3 Innings
Titus Shay, a redshirt-junior right-handed pitcher for La Salle Explorers, is a lockdown bullpen specialist who earned Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week in March 2026 after posting a 0.84 ERA, striking out 18 batters in 10 2/3 innings while allowing just three baserunners—and notably, he has not been hit upon in any of those innings. His differentiators include elite intensity (striking out 8 of 12 batters against Davidson in 4 perfect innings), a 'country strong' athletic build (6-0, 195 lbs), and a personality that thrives in high-pressure save situations, having recorded three saves including a no-hitter finale. While he has no major injury history, his relentless strikeout rate (18 Ks vs. 3 walks) and ability to dominate late innings make him an ideal fit for teams needing a reliable, high-intensity closer who can shut down opponents without relying on volume stats.
