NAU’s Zien Tessler is a familiar, high-motor linebacker with local roots and program depth
Zien Tessler is listed in Northern Arizona’s football program history, but there isn’t enough current public stat data in the available materials to credibly grade his 2026 on-field performance. What stands out is the multi-athlete football pedigree around him—he’s part of a well-known Arizona football family—and that often shows up as toughness, comfort with contact, and an understanding of the game that coaches love. If you’re looking for a linebacker fit, the appeal is upside rooted in football IQ and competitive edge rather than a flashy stat line.
