LMU’s do-it-all guard who could score, rebound, and tilt a game
Claudine Auld was a high-impact 5-foot-7 guard for Loyola Marymount whose game stood out for versatility, toughness, and a scorer’s instinct. In the 2002-03 season, she earned West Coast Conference Player of the Week honors after a 61-point, 26-rebound stretch and finished as LMU’s top scorer at 13.1 points per game, while also leading the team in free throws made and attempts. She brought intensity, clutch shot-making, and a track record of big performances—exactly the kind of guard who can steady a team and punish opponents when the pace gets choppy.
