Experienced, disruptive interior defender with proven production
Isaiah Wheeler brings veteran depth and proven run-stopping ability to Northwestern State’s defensive front: in his college career, he recorded 31 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks, with his best game coming against Abilene Christian when he posted 1.5 sacks and 1.5 TFL. The key differentiator is his accumulated game experience and consistent presence in the rotation, which can matter more than raw box-score volume at defensive tackle. He profiles as a reliable, physical fit if you want a tough interior lineman who can hold the point and create occasional backfield disruption.
