Courtney Nelms brings depth and veteran DB instincts to Tulsa
Courtney Nelms is listed as a defensive back for Tulsa, but current public stat and injury details are limited, so the best read is that he profiles as a depth piece whose value comes from experience, positioning, and reliability rather than flashy box-score production. The available Tulsa materials show him as part of the program’s defensive back mix, and older Tulsa coverage noted him as a cornerback-depth contributor. In short: if you need a steady, team-first DB who can help in coverage rotations and special situations, he’s worth a look.
