Steph Poland was a high-IQ, coachable Colgate big with academic accolades and steady role-player production.
Steph Poland’s Colgate profile shows a dependable, team-first center who earned four Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selections and four Colgate Raider Academic Honor Roll nods, then finished her senior season in 2016-17 with 2.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 24 games, including 11 starts.[1][2] Her value was less about volume scoring and more about reliability, discipline, and fit: a player trusted enough to crack the starting lineup while helping a program that swept Holy Cross for the first time in school history.[2] If you need a low-usage, high-character interior option, she fits the mold.
