Demetrius Ward brings a senior presence to Liberty’s linebacker room
As a **senior linebacker** for Liberty, Demetrius Ward profiles as a depth-and-development piece who can appeal to teams valuing experience, consistency, and defensive discipline; Liberty’s 2012 roster listing identifies him as one of seven Flames in a defense that finished **No. 32 in red zone defense** and **No. 38 in total defense**, which suggests a unit built on structure and reliability rather than flash.[1] The available public data is limited, so his best differentiators are his veteran status and fit in a program known for organized, assignment-sound defense rather than headline-grabbing stats.[1]
