Rising RedHawk RB with Untapped Potential from SC Grit
Jay Wallace, a freshman running back for the Miami (OH) RedHawks, brings high school pedigree from Chesterfield (SC) with 21 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery as a two-way defender in 2023-24, showcasing the versatility and physical intensity of a MaxPreps standout athlete. While college stats are pending his 2025 debut, his multi-position high school explosiveness mirrors coach Jonathan Wallace's tutelage of KU's Devin Neal (4,343 career yards, Big 12 top-5), suggesting Jay's differentiator is relentless motor and adaptability—ideal for teams needing a tough, scheme-flexible RB with breakout upside.
