Michael Weathers brings two-way guard production and veteran edge
Weathers is a seasoned, high-impact guard who has shown scoring, playmaking, and disruptive defense across multiple stops, including a strong 2021-22 SMU season and All-SWAC-level production at Texas Southern. His calling cards are versatility, defensive activity, and a feel for filling the box score, with stats that reflect real two-way utility rather than empty volume. For a team, he fits as a steady, experienced backcourt piece who can create, defend, and compete with edge; his extensive transfer history and pro-level experience also suggest maturity and adaptability.
