steady Louisville edge defender with proven production and reliable effort
Rimpsey’s profile points to a dependable, high-effort defensive end who has delivered real production at Louisville, including 20 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks in the 2005 season after being described by the program as a consistent performer along the line. He’s the kind of lineman coaches trust for toughness, discipline, and finishing plays rather than flashy measurables. If your team wants a grinder who can hold up in rotation and bring veteran steadiness, he fits the mold.
