Dexter Reid brings range, ball skills, and proven playmaking at safety for UNC
Dexter Reid is a physical free safety prospect for North Carolina with a reputation for range, tackling, and timely playmaking — he once earned ACC weekly honors after an 8-tackle, interception, and touchdown game against Virginia, and UNC credited him as a tone-setter who never backed away from contact. His value is less about eye-popping raw totals and more about reliability, instinct, and competitive edge in the back end, which makes him a good fit for a defense that wants a smart, aggressive center-field defender.
