Florida Atlantic’s big-bodied righty with sneaky upside
In the 2026 season, Reilly Witmer has given FAU a useful bullpen lift, posting a 2.16 ERA across 8 appearances and 8.1 innings[1]. At 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, he brings a sturdy power-pitcher frame, and his background is unusual: he arrived from Florida after also showing two-way ability in high school, which hints at athleticism and competitive feel[1][2]. He looks like a fit for teams that value strike-throwing depth, mound presence, and low-drama innings from a physical right-hander[1].
