Rice Owls' Harrison Brown: High School Star Seeking College Impact
Harrison Brown, a 6-4 G/F from Austin, TX, brings explosive high school pedigree to Rice—averaging 17.7 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 1.2 BPG over 29 games in his senior year, leading his team to a 17-13 record—but has been a deep bench player in college with modest 0.6 PPG and 0.4 RPG in limited 2023-24 action at Rice. His athleticism, scoring versatility inside-out, and defensive tenacity stand out, making him a high-upside developmental piece for teams needing versatile wings; watch for breakout potential if minutes increase, though currently more project than proven starter.
