Denzel Cheeks brings size, veteran value, and red-zone upside to Jax State
In the 2026 season, Denzel Cheeks is a 6-6, 245-pound senior tight end for Jacksonville State, which gives him the frame coaches love for inline blocking and contested-catch work.[1] His biggest differentiator is pro-style tight end versatility: he can help in the run game, present a big target underneath, and offer a reliable veteran presence in a physical offense.[1] If you want a TE who can do the dirty work and still threaten the middle of the field, he’s the kind of steady, high-floor fit that quietly makes an offense better.[1]
