Matt Amato brings proven linebacker production and dependable run support to Sacred Heart
Amato’s value is built on reliability: in the 2022 season for Sacred Heart, he appeared in 12 games and produced 27 tackles, including a season-high seven at Duquesne, while earlier team stats show he was already contributing on defense in 2021. That profile suggests a steady, assignment-sound linebacker who can handle game-day volume and give a defense consistent physicality rather than flash. If you want a tough, low-drama defender who shows up and does the work in the middle of the field, he fits the bill.
