a relentless, production-backed linebacker for New Mexico State
Chris Nwoko brings proven toughness and production to New Mexico State, finishing the 2007 season with 67 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks while playing in 12 games at middle linebacker. He stands out for his downhill physicality, knack for getting to the football, and versatility as both a run-stopper and occasional pass rusher. If you want a linebacker who plays with edge and energy, he looks like a solid fit; the upside is in his reliable tackling and instinctive feel, not flashy size or headline-grabbing athleticism.
