Recap
Penn State knocked off Ohio State 17-10 in a Big Ten defensive battle at Beaver Stadium. The Nittany Lions seized control in the second quarter with rushing touchdowns from Derrick Williams (13 yards) and Michael Robinson (1 yard) to build a 14-3 advantage. Troy Smith answered with a 10-yard scoring run just before halftime to pull the Buckeyes within 14-10, but Kevin Kelly's 41-yard field goal in the third quarter provided the final margin as both defenses locked down the rest of the way.
