Recap
Notre Dame rolled to a 49-28 victory over Purdue at Ross-Ade Stadium, dominating early with a 28-0 halftime lead. The Fighting Irish offense was unstoppable as Brady Quinn connected with Jeff Samardzija for two touchdown passes, including a 55-yarder in the third quarter, while Rashon Powers-Neal powered in two short rushing scores. Despite a spirited second-half rally from the Boilermakers, including two rushing touchdowns from Kory Sheets, Notre Dame's offensive firepower proved too much to overcome.
