Recap
Notre Dame knocked off Michigan 17-10 in Ann Arbor behind Brady Quinn's efficient performance, as the Fighting Irish quarterback tossed two first-half touchdown passes to build a 14-3 halftime advantage. Quinn connected with Rhema McKnight and Jeff Samardzija on 5-yard scoring strikes during lengthy 12-play drives that set the tone early. The Wolverines rallied in the fourth quarter on a Chad Henne-to-Mario Manningham 25-yard touchdown, but couldn't complete the comeback as D.J. Fitzpatrick's 43-yard field goal proved to be the difference.
