Recap
Purdue stormed into Tucson and handed the Wildcats a 31-24 defeat behind a dominant performance from running back Jerod Void, who powered the Boilermakers with three rushing touchdowns including a 55-yard scoring burst. The Big Ten visitors built a commanding 31-17 lead through three quarters, with Void capping his big night with a 3-yard TD run in the third. Arizona's Richard Kovalcheck connected with Brad Wood for two touchdowns and Anthony Johnson for another, but the Wildcats' fourth-quarter rally fell short as Purdue held on for the road victory.
