Recap
UAB dominated Troy 27-7 on the road, building a commanding 17-0 halftime lead behind Darrell Hackney's two touchdown passes and Larry McSwain's 23-yard pick-six in the first quarter. The Blazers controlled the game throughout, adding two Parker Mullins field goals before Hackney connected with Trey Chaney for a 12-yard score in the third quarter. Troy's only answer came on Leodis McKelvin's electrifying 73-yard punt return, but it was far too little against the surging Blazers.
