Recap
UCLA dominated San Diego State 44-21 behind a sensational performance from Maurice Jones-Drew, who scored on a 64-yard run, added a 1-yard rushing touchdown, and returned a punt 72 yards for a score. The Bruins built a commanding 24-6 halftime lead and never looked back, with Chris Markey contributing two 1-yard rushing touchdowns in the third quarter. Despite Lynell Hamilton's two rushing scores for the Aztecs, UCLA's explosive offense proved too much to overcome.
