California exploded for 56 points in a dominant road victory over Washington, with Joe Ayoob throwing four touchdown passes—three to Robert Jordan including strikes of 24, 58, and 9 yards. The Golden Bears seized control with 21 second-quarter points and never looked back, getting a 41-yard pick-six from Dante Hughes and explosive rushing scores of 71 and 35 yards from Marcus O'Keith and Justin Forsett. Despite Isaiah Stanback's two touchdown passes for the Huskies, Washington couldn't keep pace as California rolled to the commanding Big Ten-ACC matchup win.
