Recap
Lafayette held off Columbia 14-7 in a defensive struggle at Fisher Stadium. The Leopards seized control in the third quarter when Jonathan Hurt punched in his second 1-yard touchdown run, capping a methodical 12-play, 57-yard drive. After Jordan Davis gave Lafayette an early 7-0 lead with a 1-yard score in the opening quarter, Hurt responded just two minutes later to tie it at seven, but the Lions couldn't find the end zone again as the Leopards' defense locked down for the victory.
