Recap
Holy Cross stunned Yale 22-19 at the Yale Bowl in a thrilling Patriot League-Ivy League clash that came down to the final seconds. The Crusaders dominated early, building a 15-0 lead behind Mike Desantis's two field goals, a safety, and Sean Gruber's 9-yard touchdown run. Yale stormed back in the fourth quarter with two Jeff Mroz touchdown passes, but Steve Silva's electrifying 84-yard kickoff return for Holy Cross proved to be the difference, as the Bulldogs' late 41-yard touchdown pass to Chris Denny-Brown fell just short.
