Recap
Oklahoma survived a thriller in Knoxville, defeating Tennessee 31-24 in double overtime at Neyland Stadium. The Volunteers jumped out to a 17-0 lead behind Joshua Dobbs' touchdown pass to Josh Malone and his own 4-yard scoring run, but Baker Mayfield rallied the Sooners with two fourth-quarter TD passes to tie it at 17. After both teams traded touchdowns in the first overtime—Jalen Hurd's 8-yard run answered by Mayfield's 1-yard plunge—Mayfield connected with Sterling Shepard for an 18-yard game-winner in the second extra period.
