Recap
Monmouth held off Bryant 31-24 in a wild Coastal Athletic Association clash that featured four lead changes in the fourth quarter alone. The Hawks jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter advantage behind Cody Williams' 22-yard rushing touchdown and 16-yard TD pass to Reggie White Jr., but the Bulldogs clawed back to tie it 14-14 by halftime. After John Sieczkowski's 5-yard pick-six put Monmouth up 24-16 early in the fourth, Bryant answered with a 68-yard bomb from Dalton Easton to Chad Ward plus a two-point conversion to tie it at 24-24, before Williams connected with White Jr. again on a 50-yard strike to seal the victory.
