Recap
Jacksonville State escaped Chattanooga with a thrilling 23-20 road victory in a back-and-forth battle that came down to the wire. The Gamecocks appeared to have control after Montrell Pardue's 55-yard fumble return for a touchdown gave them a 20-16 lead with 8:16 remaining. However, the Mocs answered with a crucial 10-play, 79-yard drive capped by Miles Jones' 1-yard touchdown run with 2:41 left to reclaim the lead and secure the win.
