Recap
Pittsburgh held off a feisty Youngstown State comeback to win 45-37 in an unexpectedly high-scoring affair at Acrisure Stadium. James Conner powered the Panthers early with two first-quarter rushing touchdowns, while Qadree Ollison's explosive 71-yard scoring run in the third quarter provided crucial separation. The Penguins refused to go quietly, with Jody Webb scorching the Panthers' defense for a pair of long touchdown runs (27 and 75 yards), but Pittsburgh answered every challenge with big plays, including Avonte Maddox's 89-yard kickoff return and Scott Orndoff's 55-yard receiving touchdown.
