Recap
Florida held off Kentucky 14-9 in a defensive slugfest in Lexington, with the Gators' offense doing just enough in the first half to secure the Southeastern Conference victory. Will Grier's 1-yard touchdown run and Kelvin Taylor's 3-yard scoring plunge before halftime gave the Gators a 14-3 cushion that proved insurmountable. Kentucky mounted a fourth-quarter comeback behind three Austin MacGinnis field goals, including a 45-yarder, but the Wildcats couldn't find the end zone when it mattered most.
