Recap
Indiana survived a wild shootout with Southern Illinois 48-47, thanks to Jordan Howard's 1-yard touchdown run with just 58 seconds remaining. The Hoosiers needed every bit of Howard's three rushing touchdowns to outlast the Salukis, who got four touchdown passes from Mark Iannotti and battled back from a 48-41 deficit with a late score. Southern Illinois' failed two-point conversion attempt with 18 seconds left sealed the Hoosiers' dramatic home victory in this high-scoring thriller.
