Recap
Auburn powered past San Jose State 35-21 behind a dominant performance from Peyton Barber, who rushed for five touchdowns including a decisive 36-yard score with just over four minutes remaining. The Spartans showed resilience, cutting the deficit to 28-21 early in the fourth quarter on Tyler Ervin's 2-yard plunge, but the Tigers responded immediately to put the game away. Barber's career day included four goal-line touchdowns and one explosive fourth-quarter burst that sealed the victory at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
