Recap
Oklahoma pulled away from West Virginia 44-24 in a back-and-forth Big 12 showdown at home. Baker Mayfield threw three touchdown passes, including a spectacular 71-yarder to Durron Neal with just 13 seconds left in the third quarter that restored the Sooners' two-score advantage. The Mountaineers made it interesting when Skyler Howard's electrifying 50-yard rushing touchdown cut it to 27-24, but Jordan Evans' 41-yard fumble return for a score early in the fourth quarter sealed Oklahoma's victory.
