Recap
Jacksonville State survived a wild shootout at Hardy M. Graham Stadium, holding off UT Martin 48-41 despite a furious fourth-quarter rally by the Skyhawks. The Gamecocks built a commanding 42-20 lead through three quarters behind Eli Jenkins and Josh Barge's three touchdown connections, plus Troymaine Pope's two rushing scores. UT Martin's Jarod Neal fired three fourth-quarter touchdown passes to Rod Wright and William Tanner, but the comeback fell just short as Jacksonville State escaped with the Conference USA victory.
