Recap
Savannah State dominated Florida A&M 37-27 behind a powerful ground attack and explosive special teams play. The Tigers seized control early with a Ker-Sean Wilson 88-yard kickoff return touchdown, then Nicholas Bentley powered through with two rushing touchdowns in the second quarter to build a 30-7 halftime advantage. Despite the Rattlers mounting a second-half rally to cut the deficit to 10 points, Joshua Berry's 17-yard scoring run in the third quarter sealed the victory for Savannah State.
