Utah took down Kansas 31-21 behind quarterback Devon Dampier's three touchdown passes, including two to Larry Simmons in the decisive fourth quarter. The Utes' defense made a huge impact when Elijah Davis returned an interception 97 yards for a touchdown to give Utah a 10-point cushion. Despite scoring efforts from Daniel Hishaw Jr. and Jalon Daniels, the Jayhawks couldn't overcome Utah's explosive 21-point fourth quarter.
