Recap

Utah dominated Cincinnati 45-14 at Rice-Eccles Stadium, with quarterback Devon Dampier tossing two touchdown passes while the Utes' ground game contributed three rushing scores. The Bearcats briefly showed life with Brendan Sorsby's 88-yard touchdown strike to Cyrus Allen in the third quarter, but Utah answered with 21 unanswered points, including Mana Carvalho's electrifying 75-yard punt return touchdown. The Utes' balanced attack and stifling defense proved too much for Cincinnati to handle.
